لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 98 من قانون الطريق على أنه عند القطر يجب ألّا تستخدم الحارة اليمنى من طريق سريع (motorway) به ثلاث حارات أو أكثر، إلّا في ظروف خاصة. التزم بالحارتين اليسرى والوسطى بدلاً من ذلك.
Rule 98 of The Highway Code says that when towing you must not use the right-hand lane of a motorway with three or more lanes, except in special circumstances. Keep to the left and middle lanes instead.
