You have parked at the kerb and are about to open your door to get out. What should you check for?

لماذا؟
الباب المفتوح في مسار دراج قد يُسقطه ويُسبب إصابة خطيرة. تنص القاعدة 239 من قانون الطريق على وجوب التأكد من عدم اصطدامك بأحد عند فتح بابك، بالتحقق من الدراجين وحركة المرور بالنظر حولك واستخدام المرايا.
An opening door in a cyclist's path can knock them off, causing serious injury. Rule 239 of The Highway Code says you must make sure you do not hit anyone when you open your door, checking for cyclists and other traffic by looking all around and using your mirrors.
