You are driving in fog. Why should you not drive close to the tail lights of the vehicle ahead?

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 235 من قانون الطريق على أنه في الضباب يجب أن تترك مسافة آمنة وألا تتعلق بأضواء المركبة أمامك، فذلك يمنحك شعوراً زائفاً بالأمان ولا يترك لك وقتاً لرد الفعل إذا توقفت فجأة.
Rule 235 of The Highway Code says in fog you should keep a safe distance and not hang on to the tail lights of the vehicle ahead, because it gives a false sense of security and leaves you no time to react if it stops suddenly.
