لماذا؟
تحذّر القاعدة 221 من قانون الطريق من أن المركبات الطويلة والمفصلية تحتاج مساحة إضافية للانعطاف وقد تتّسع للخارج. ابقَ خلفها، ولا تحاول أبدًا تجاوزها من الجهة التي تنعطف نحوها، وإلا خاطرت بأن تُحشر بينها وبين الرصيف.
Rule 221 of The Highway Code warns that long, articulated vehicles need extra room to turn and may swing wide. Stay back and never try to pass on the side it is turning towards, or you risk being caught between the vehicle and the kerb.
