At roadworks you often see temporary warning signs. What colour background do they usually have?

لماذا؟
اللافتات المؤقتة عند أعمال الطريق تكون عادةً برموز ونص أسود على خلفية صفراء لتتميز عن اللافتات الدائمة وتلفت انتباهك. تنص القاعدة 288 من قانون الطريق على توخّي مزيد من الحذر والالتزام بجميع اللافتات وبمن ينظّمون المرور عند أعمال الطريق.
Temporary signs at roadworks usually have black symbols and text on a yellow background so they stand out from permanent signs and catch your eye. Rule 288 of The Highway Code says you should take extra care and obey all signs and any people directing traffic at roadworks.
