Your car breaks down while you are on a level crossing. What should you do first?
تعطّلت سيارتك وأنت فوق معبر سكة حديد (level crossing). ما أول ما يجب أن تفعله؟
- Stay in the car and wait for helpالبقاء في السيارة وانتظار المساعدة
- Try to restart the engine several timesمحاولة إعادة تشغيل المحرك عدة مرات
- Push the car forward onto the trackدفع السيارة للأمام على القضبان
- Get everyone out and clear of the crossingإخراج الجميع من السيارة وإبعادهم عن المعبرإجابة صحيحة
لماذا؟
إذا تعطّلت سيارتك على معبر السكة الحديد، تنص القاعدة 299 من قانون الطريق على إخراج الجميع وإبعادهم عن المعبر أولًا، ثم استخدام هاتف السكة لإبلاغ عامل الإشارة (signal operator).
If your car breaks down on a level crossing, Rule 299 of The Highway Code says to get everyone out and clear of the crossing first, then use the railway telephone to tell the signal operator.
