لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 232 من قانون الطريق على أن الرياح الجانبية (crosswinds) تكون أشدّ على الامتدادات المفتوحة والمكشوفة والجسور، وقد تدفع السيارة خارج مسارها وليس المركبات عالية الجوانب فقط. أمسك المقود بإحكام وكن مستعدًا لتصحيح موضعك.
Rule 232 of The Highway Code warns that strong crosswinds are worst on open, exposed stretches and bridges and can blow a car off course, not just high-sided vehicles. Keep a firm grip on the wheel and be ready to correct your position.
