لماذا؟
توضّح القاعدة 100 من قانون الطريق أن السائق يجب أن يتأكّد من أن كل الأطفال دون 14 عاماً يرتدون حزام أمان أو يستخدمون مقيّد أطفال معتمداً (child restraint). فالمسؤولية تقع على السائق، لا على الطفل أو أحد الركاب.
Rule 100 of The Highway Code makes it clear that the driver must ensure that all children under 14 years of age wear a seat belt or use an approved child restraint. The duty rests with the driver, not the child or a passenger.
