A cyclist ahead is riding in the middle of your lane on a narrow road. Why might they be doing this?

لماذا؟
قد يكون السير في المنتصف أأمن وضع لراكب الدراجة. تقرّ القاعدة 213 من قانون الطريق بأن راكبي الدراجات قد يسيرون في منتصف المسار على الطرق الضيّقة أو عند الاقتراب من التقاطعات، ليكونوا مرئيين بوضوح ولمنع التجاوز غير الآمن.
Riding centrally can be the safest position for a cyclist. Rule 213 of The Highway Code recognises that cyclists may ride in the centre of the lane on narrow roads or approaching junctions, to be clearly seen and to prevent unsafe overtaking.
