Zasada 126 mówi o zachowaniu odstępu dwóch sekund na suchej drodze, a zasada 227 ostrzega, że droga zatrzymania w deszczu wydłuża się co najmniej dwukrotnie. Dlatego na mokrej autostradzie odstęp powinien wynosić co najmniej cztery sekundy lub więcej.
Rule 126 says to keep a two-second gap in the dry, and rule 227 warns that wet stopping distances are at least doubled. So on a wet motorway you should at least double the gap to four seconds or more.
