At a pelican crossing the amber light is flashing and a pedestrian is still on the crossing. What must you do?
عند معبر بيليكان (pelican crossing) يومض الضوء البرتقالي وما زال أحد المشاة على المعبر. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Give way to the pedestrian still on the crossingأعطِ الأولوية للمشاة الذي ما زال على المعبرإجابة صحيحة
- Drive on because flashing amber means goتابع القيادة لأن البرتقالي الوامض يعني السير
- Sound your horn to make them clear the roadاستخدم البوق ليخلي الطريق

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 196 على أنه عند معبر بيليكان، عندما يومض الضوء البرتقالي يجب (MUST) أن تعطي الأولوية لأي من المشاة على المعبر. لا تنطلق إلا بعد أن يخلو المعبر.
Rule 196 says that at a pelican crossing, when the amber light is flashing you MUST give way to any pedestrians on the crossing. Only move off once the crossing is clear.
