A cyclist is ahead of you on a narrow road and you cannot leave enough room to pass safely. What should you do?
راكب دراجة أمامك على طريق ضيق ولا تستطيع ترك مساحة كافية لتتجاوزه بأمان. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 163 من قانون الطريق على ترك ما لا يقل عن 1.5 متر عند تجاوز راكب دراجة بسرعة تصل إلى 30 ميلاً/ساعة، وإن تعذّر ذلك فعليك الانتظار. الصبر والتراجع حتى يصبح الأمر آمناً أفضل بكثير من تجاوز قريب خطير.
Rule 163 of The Highway Code says leave at least 1.5 metres when passing a cyclist at up to 30 mph, and if you cannot, you should wait. Being patient and holding back until it is safe is far better than a dangerous close pass.
