On a narrow, quiet street a cyclist ahead is riding in the middle of the lane rather than near the kerb. What should you do?
في شارع ضيق هادئ، راكب دراجة أمامك يسير في منتصف الحارة بدلاً من قربها من الرصيف. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Drive close behind to make them move to the sideقد قريباً خلفه لتجعله يتنحّى جانباً

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 213 من قانون الطريق على أنه في الطرق الضيقة أو الهادئة وفي السير البطيء قد يركب راكبو الدراجات في منتصف الحارة (centre of the lane) ليروا ويُرَوا. اترك له ذلك من أجل سلامته ولا تتجاوز إلا عند توفّر مساحة كافية.
Rule 213 of The Highway Code says that on narrow or quiet roads and in slower traffic, cyclists may ride in the centre of the lane so they can see and be seen. Allow them to do this for their safety and only pass when there is enough room.
