A long vehicle in front of you is turning left at a junction but first moves out towards the right. What should you do?

لماذا؟
كثيرًا ما تتّسع المركبات الطويلة (long vehicle) أو تتمدّد عبر الحارات (straddle lanes) لتدور حول زاوية ضيّقة دون أن تصعد عجلاتها الخلفية على الرصيف. تحذّرك القاعدة 221 من قانون الطريق بالبقاء خلفها وإعطائها مساحة، وعدم محاولة تجاوزها من الجهة التي تنعطف نحوها أبدًا، فقد تُسحق ضدّ الرصيف.
Long vehicles often swing out or straddle lanes to get round a tight corner without their rear wheels mounting the kerb. Rule 221 of The Highway Code warns you to stay back and give them room, and never try to pass on the side they are turning towards, as you could be crushed against the kerb.
