لماذا؟
يقلّل الرذاذ (spray) المتطاير من مركبة كبيرة من مدى رؤيتك بشكل كبير، والسير القريب جدًا يزيد الأمر سوءًا. تنص القاعدة 222 من قانون الطريق على البقاء بعيدًا خلف المركبات الكبيرة، فالتراجع للخلف يمنحك رؤية أوضح ووقتًا أكبر للاستجابة حتى تتمكن من التجاوز بأمان.
Spray from a large vehicle badly reduces how much you can see, and following too close makes it worse. Rule 222 of The Highway Code says to keep well back from large vehicles, and dropping back gives you a clearer view and more time to react until you can overtake safely.
