On a narrow road a cyclist is riding near the centre of the lane, not close to the kerb. What should you do?
على طريق ضيّق يسير راكب دراجة هوائية قرب منتصف الحارة، لا قرب الرصيف. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Push past in the same laneادفع مرورًا في الحارة نفسها
- Sound your horn to move them overأطلق البوق ليتنحّى
- Wait until it is safe, then overtake with plenty of roomانتظر حتى يكون آمنًا، ثم تجاوز بمساحة واسعةإجابة صحيحة

لماذا؟
توضّح القاعدة 213 من قانون الطريق أن راكبي الدراجات قد يسيرون في منتصف الحارة على الطرق الضيّقة أو عند التقاطعات ليكونوا مرئيّين وآمنين. تحلَّ بالصبر ولا تتجاوز إلا عند توفّر مساحة كافية لمنحهم مسافة.
Rule 213 of The Highway Code explains that cyclists may ride in the centre of the lane on narrow roads or at junctions to be seen and stay safe. Be patient and only overtake when there is enough room to give them space.
