You are turning left into a side road. How should you position and drive?
تنعطف يسارًا إلى طريق فرعي. كيف تحدّد موضعك وتقود؟
- Swing out to the right first to ease the turnانحرف يمينًا أولًا لتسهيل الانعطاف
- Move to the crown of the road before turningاتجه إلى منتصف الطريق قبل الانعطاف
- Keep well to the left and do not swing outالزم اليسار جيدًا ولا تنحرف خارجًاإجابة صحيحة

لماذا؟
عند الانعطاف يسارًا، تنص القاعدة 182 من قانون الطريق على الالتزام باليسار وعدم الانحراف إلى الخارج (swing out)، حتى لا تعرّض المرور القادم أو راكبي الدراجات على يسارك للخطر.
When turning left, Rule 182 of The Highway Code says to keep to the left and not swing out, so you do not endanger oncoming traffic or cyclists on your left.
