You are on a narrow single-track road and a car comes towards you. What should you do?
أنت على طريق ضيّق أحادي المسار (single-track road) وتأتي سيارة نحوك. ماذا تفعل؟
- Pull into a passing place on your left, or wait opposite one on your rightادخل مكان تقابل (passing place) على يسارك، أو انتظر مقابل واحد على يمينكإجابة صحيحة
- Reverse at speed until they have passedارجع للخلف بسرعة حتى تمرّ
- Drive onto the grass verge and squeeze pastاصعد على كتف الطريق العشبي وحاول المرور
- Stop in the middle and wait for them to moveتوقّف في المنتصف وانتظر تحرّكهم
لماذا؟
على الطريق الأحادي المسار، تنص القاعدة 155 من قانون الطريق على أنه إذا أتت مركبة نحوك، فادخل مكان تقابل (passing place) على يسارك، أو انتظر مقابل واحد على يمينك.
On a single-track road, Rule 155 of The Highway Code says that if a vehicle comes towards you, you should pull into a passing place on your left, or wait opposite one on your right.
