How does driving faster affect a crash if one happens?

لماذا؟
توضّح القاعدة 125 من قانون الطريق أن السرعة غير الآمنة تزيد من احتمال وقوع الاصطدام (collision) ومن شدّته معاً. فالاصطدامات الأسرع تحمل طاقة أكبر، ولذلك تكون نتائجها أخطر عليك وعلى الآخرين.
Rule 125 of The Highway Code makes clear that unsafe speed increases both the chance of a collision and its severity. Faster impacts carry more energy, so the results are more serious for you and others.
