You are so close to the car ahead that it fills your view and you cannot see far past it. What does this mean?
أنت قريب جداً من السيارة أمامك حتى إنها تملأ مجال رؤيتك ولا ترى أبعد منها. ماذا يعني ذلك؟
- You are a safe distance backأنك على مسافة آمنة للخلف
- You are driving well and can relaxأنك تقود جيداً ويمكنك الاسترخاء
- The car ahead is too slowأن السيارة أمامك بطيئة جداً
- You are tailgating and should drop backأنك ملتصق بها (tailgating) وعليك التراجعإجابة صحيحة
لماذا؟
تحذّر القاعدة 126 من قانون الطريق من الاقتراب الزائد من السيارة أمامك. فأن تكون قريباً لدرجة أنها تملأ مجال رؤيتك يعني أنك تلتصق بها (tailgating)؛ خفّف الضغط عن الوقود بلطف لاستعادة فجوة ثانيتين على الأقل.
Rule 126 of The Highway Code warns against getting too close to the vehicle in front. Being so near that it fills your view means you are tailgating; ease off gently to restore at least a two-second gap.
