How is a puffin crossing different from a pelican crossing?

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 199 من قانون الطريق على أن ممر البفن (puffin crossing) لا توجد به مرحلة وميض كهرماني، وتسلسل إشاراته مثل إشارات المرور العادية، مع أجهزة استشعار عند الرصيف ترصد المشاة.
Rule 199 of The Highway Code explains that a puffin crossing has no flashing amber phase; its light sequence is the same as ordinary traffic lights. Kerbside sensors detect pedestrians so the lights hold until they have crossed.
