لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 178 من قانون الطريق على التوقّف عند الخط الأبيض الأول وترك المنطقة المخصّصة للدرّاجات (advanced stop line) خالية، ليتمكّن راكبو الدراجات من التمركّز أمامك والانطلاق بأمان عند تغيّر الإشارة.
Rule 178 of The Highway Code says you should stop at the first white line and leave the marked cycle area clear. This lets cyclists position themselves ahead of you and move off safely when the lights change.
