You are turning into a side road that has a zebra crossing just after the corner, with a pedestrian on it. What should you do?
أنت تنعطف إلى طريق جانبي به ممر مشاة مخطط (zebra crossing) بعد الزاوية مباشرة، وعليه أحد المشاة. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Complete your turn before they reach your pathأكمل انعطافك قبل أن يصل إلى مسارك
- Wait and give way until the crossing is clearانتظر وأفسح الطريق حتى يخلو الممرإجابة صحيحة
- Turn slowly around the pedestrianانعطف ببطء من حول الماشي

لماذا؟
للماشي الموجود على الممر الأولوية. تنص القاعدة 195 من قانون الطريق على وجوب إفساح الطريق لأي شخص على ممر المشاة المخطط (zebra crossing)، فتمهّل ودعه يكمل عبوره قبل أن تُتمّ انعطافك إلى الطريق الجانبي.
The pedestrian on the crossing has priority. Rule 195 of The Highway Code says you must give way to anyone on a zebra crossing, so hold back and let them finish before you complete your turn into the side road.
