Another driver cuts in front of you carelessly. What is the safest attitude to take?
يقطع سائق آخر الطريق أمامك بإهمال. ما هو الموقف الأكثر أماناً الذي يجب أن تتخذه؟
- Sound your horn repeatedly to show your angerاستخدم البوق مراراً لإظهار غضبك
- Move up close behind them to make your pointاقترب كثيراً خلفه لتوصل له استياءك
- Stay calm, hold back and let the incident goابقَ هادئاً، وتراجع قليلاً، وتجاوز الأمرإجابة صحيحة
- Overtake them and brake to teach them a lessonتجاوزه ثم اكبح لتلقّنه درساً
لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 147 من قانون الطريق على أن تكون صبوراً وألّا تدع نفسك تنفعل بسبب تصرف مستخدم طريق آخر. الرد بغضب أو محاولة 'الانتقام' لا يزيد الموقف إلا خطورة؛ فابقَ هادئاً، واحتفظ بمسافتك، وتجاوز الأمر.
Rule 147 of The Highway Code says you should be patient and not allow yourself to become agitated by another road user's behaviour. Reacting angrily or trying to 'get back' at them only makes things more dangerous; stay calm, keep your distance and let it go.
