You are driving along a country road at night. Why should you be ready for animals in the road?

لماذا؟
تقول القاعدة 214 من قانون الطريق إنه عند المرور بالحيوانات قُد ببطء وامنحها مساحة واسعة وكن مستعداً للتوقف. فعلى الطرق الريفية غير المضاءة (القاعدة 154) قد تظهر الحيوانات فجأة ويصعب رؤيتها، لذا أبقِ سرعتك منخفضة.
Rule 214 of The Highway Code says when passing animals drive slowly, give them plenty of room and be ready to stop. On unlit country roads (Rule 154) animals can appear suddenly and are hard to see, so keep your speed down.
