Traffic on the motorway has slowed to a crawl and keeps stopping and starting. How should you position your car?

لماذا؟
حتى في السير البطيء المتوقف يجب ألا تلتصق تمامًا بالمركبة أمامك. تنص القاعدة 260 من قانون الطريق على إبقاء مسافة آمنة عن المركبة أمامك. فالفجوة تتيح لك الانطلاق بسلاسة وتمنحك مجالًا إذا تدحرجت المركبة أمامك للخلف أو تعطلت.
Even in slow, queuing traffic you should not close right up to the vehicle ahead. Rule 260 of The Highway Code says to keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front. A gap lets you move off smoothly and gives you room if the vehicle in front rolls back or breaks down.
