لماذا؟
العيون العاكسة ملوّنة بنظام يبيّن تخطيط الطريق. تنص القاعدة 132 من قانون الطريق على أن العيون البيضاء تحدد الحارات والفواصل بينها؛ والحمراء تحدد الحافة اليسرى، والكهرمانية الجزيرة الوسطى، والخضراء مداخل طرق الخروج ومناطق التوقف الجانبية.
Reflective studs are colour-coded to show the road layout. Rule 132 of The Highway Code says white studs mark the lanes and the gaps between them; red mark the left edge, amber the central reservation, and green the slip road and lay-by entrances.
