You have just joined the motorway from the slip road. What should you normally do next?
انضممت للتو إلى الطريق السريع من طريق الدخول (slip road). ماذا يجب أن تفعل عادةً بعد ذلك؟

لماذا؟
تحتاج إلى وقت لتستقر ضمن تدفّق السير السريع. تنص القاعدة 259 من قانون الطريق على أنك بعد الانضمام تبقى في الحارة اليسرى مدة كافية للتأقلم مع سرعة السير قبل التفكير في التجاوز أو الانتقال عبر الحارات.
You need time to settle into the flow of fast traffic. Rule 259 of The Highway Code says that after joining you should stay in the left-hand lane long enough to adjust to the speed of the traffic before you think about overtaking or moving across lanes.
