لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 231 من قانون الطريق على القيادة بحذر شديد على الجليد: بسرعة بطيئة، وبأعلى تُرس ممكن (high gear)، مع التسارع والكبح بلطف شديد لتجنّب الحركات المفاجئة التي قد تسبّب انزلاقاً (skid).
Rule 231 of The Highway Code says to drive extremely carefully on ice: use a slow speed, keep to as high a gear as possible, and accelerate and brake very gently to avoid sudden actions that could cause a skid.
