In fog, another driver is following very close behind you. What should you not do?
في الضباب، سائق آخر يتبعك من مسافة قريبة جداً خلفك. ما الذي يجب ألا تفعله؟
- Accelerate to get away from themأن تزيد سرعتك للابتعاد عنهإجابة صحيحة
- Keep a safe distance from the vehicle in frontأن تحفظ مسافة آمنة عن السيارة أمامك
- Use your brakes gently and in good timeأن تستخدم فراملك بلطف وفي الوقت المناسب
- Slow down smoothly if you need toأن تخفف سرعتك بسلاسة عند الحاجة
لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 235 من قانون الطريق على أنه في الضباب يجب ألا تزيد سرعتك للابتعاد عن سيارة تلتصق بك من الخلف. احفظ مسافتك الآمنة أمامك واكبح بلطف ومبكراً كي تحذّر أضواء فرملتك السائق خلفك.
Rule 235 of The Highway Code says in fog you should not accelerate to get away from a vehicle that is too close behind. Keep your own safe distance in front and brake gently and early so your brake lights warn the driver behind.
