Your car is fitted with anti-lock brakes (ABS). What should you NOT assume about them?

- That they will always stop the car in a shorter distanceأنها ستوقف السيارة دائمًا في مسافة أقصرإجابة صحيحة

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 120 من قانون الطريق على أن نظام (ABS) يساعدك على الاحتفاظ بالتوجيه أثناء الكبح الشديد، لكن يجب ألّا تفترض أن السيارة المزوّدة به ستتوقف في مسافة أقصر؛ فما زلت بحاجة لترك مسافة آمنة والقيادة وفق الظروف.
Rule 120 of The Highway Code notes that ABS helps you keep steering control during hard braking, but you must not assume a car with ABS will stop in a shorter distance. You still need to leave a safe gap and drive to the conditions.
