You are driving in fog and need to slow down. What should you do to warn the driver behind?
أنت تقود في الضباب وتحتاج للإبطاء. ماذا تفعل لتحذير السائق الذي خلفك؟
- Check your mirrors, then brake so your brake lights showتفقّد مراياك ثم اكبح لتظهر أضواء الفراملإجابة صحيحة
- Slow down suddenly without touching the brakesأبطئ فجأة دون لمس الفرامل
- Put on your hazard lights and keep the same speedشغّل أضواء التحذير وأبقِ السرعة نفسها
- Wave your arm out of the windowلوّح بذراعك من النافذة
لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 235 من قانون الطريق على أنك في الضباب يجب أن تتفقّد مراياك قبل أن تبطئ، ثم تستخدم فراملك حتى تُنذر أضواء الفرامل من خلفك بأنك تبطئ. أبقِ مسافة آمنة عن المركبة التي أمامك.
Rule 235 of The Highway Code says that in fog you should check your mirrors before you slow down, then use your brakes so that your brake lights warn drivers behind that you are slowing. Keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
