On a wet road, how should you change the gap between you and the vehicle in front?

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 126 من قانون الطريق على أن الطرق المبتلّة تضاعف تقريبًا مسافة توقّفك، فاترك ضعف المسافة التي تتركها في الجاف على الأقل. هذا يمنحك مجالًا للتوقف إن أبطأت المركبة أمامك أو توقّفت فجأة.
Rule 126 of The Highway Code says wet roads roughly double your stopping distance, so leave at least twice the gap you would in the dry. This gives you room to stop if the vehicle ahead slows or stops suddenly.
