You are driving along a residential street with parked cars on both sides. The speed limit is 30 mph. How fast should you go?

- Exactly 30 mph, because that is allowed30 ميلًا بالضبط، لأن ذلك مسموح

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 125 من قانون الطريق على أن حدّ السرعة هو الحدّ الأقصى المطلق، ولا يعني أنه آمن أن تقود به في كل الظروف. في شارع فيه سيارات مركونة ومشاة محتملون، قُد بسرعة أقل بكثير من الحدّ.
Rule 125 of The Highway Code says the speed limit is the absolute maximum and does not mean it is safe to drive at that speed in all conditions. On a street with parked cars and possible pedestrians, drive well below the limit.
