On a hot day your car feels stuffy and warm. Why is this a hazard?

Why?

Rule 237 of The Highway Code says in hot weather you should keep your vehicle well ventilated to avoid drowsiness, as a stuffy, warm car can make you sleepy and slow to react. Also watch for a soft road surface.
