You are driving in slow traffic beside a large lorry. Why should you avoid staying level with its cab?

Why?

Large vehicles have deep blind spots along their sides where the driver cannot see you in the mirrors. Rule 164 of The Highway Code reminds you that if you cannot see the driver's mirrors, they cannot see you, so do not sit alongside the cab.
