You are waiting to pull out of a junction. Why must you look carefully for motorcyclists?

Why?
Rule 211 of The Highway Code says it is often hard to see motorcyclists and cyclists, especially coming out of junctions, and they may be approaching faster than you think. Take a second look before you emerge.
