Dlaczego?
Zasada 160 z The Highway Code mówi, że w ruchu powinieneś jechać na biegu odpowiednim do warunków. Na stromym podjeździe niższy bieg utrzymuje silnik w ciągłej pracy i daje stałą moc oraz kontrolę, zamiast pozwalać samochodowi męczyć się na zbyt wysokim biegu.
Rule 160 of The Highway Code says that once moving you should drive in the correct gear for the conditions. On a steep uphill a lower gear keeps the engine pulling and gives steady power and control, rather than letting the car labour in too high a gear.
