You are turning left into a side road and a pedestrian is waiting to cross that road. What should you do?
تنعطف يساراً إلى طريق فرعي، وهناك أحد المشاة ينتظر لعبور ذلك الطريق. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Turn quickly before the pedestrian steps outانعطف بسرعة قبل أن يخطو المشاة
- Sound your horn to warn them to waitاستخدم البوق لتحذيره بالانتظار
- Give way and let the pedestrian crossأعطِ الأولوية واترك المشاة يعبرإجابة صحيحة

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 170 على أنه ينبغي أن تعطي الأولوية للمشاة الذين يعبرون أو ينتظرون لعبور طريق تنعطف إليه؛ وإذا بدأوا العبور فلهم الأولوية. خفف سرعتك وكن مستعداً للتوقف وأنت تنعطف.
Rule 170 says you should give way to pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross a road into which you are turning; if they have started to cross, they have priority. Slow down and be ready to stop as you make the turn.
