Another driver is behaving aggressively towards you, sounding their horn and gesturing. What is the safest response?

- Gesture and shout back to stand your groundلوّح واصرخ رداً عليه لتثبت موقفك
- Brake sharply to punish them for tailgatingاكبح بحدة لتعاقبه على قربه منك
- Race away to prove you are the better driverانطلق مسرعاً لتثبت أنك السائق الأفضل
- Stay calm and, if needed, pull over until they passابقَ هادئاً، وعند الحاجة انحرف جانباً حتى يمرإجابة صحيحة
لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 147 على ألّا تدع نفسك تنفعل أو تنجرّ إذا تصرف أحدهم تصرفاً سيئاً على الطريق، فذلك لا يزيد الموقف إلا سوءاً. ابقَ هادئاً، وإذا شعرت بالانزعاج فانحرف جانباً، واهدأ، ثم تابع طريقك عندما تشعر بالاسترخاء.
Rule 147 says do not allow yourself to become agitated or involved if someone is behaving badly on the road, as it only makes things worse. Keep calm and, if you feel upset, pull over, calm down, and continue when you feel relaxed.
