You approach a mini-roundabout at the same time as a vehicle on your right. What is the correct and courteous thing to do?
تقترب من دوّار مصغّر (mini-roundabout) في الوقت نفسه مع مركبة على يمينك. ما التصرف الصحيح والمراعي؟
- Drive straight over the central marking without slowingقد فوق العلامة المركزية مباشرة دون إبطاء
- Give way to the vehicle coming from your rightأعطِ الأولوية للمركبة القادمة من يمينكإجابة صحيحة
- Assume oncoming traffic will always wait for youافترض أن السير المقابل سينتظرك دائماً

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 188 من قانون الطريق على أن تعامل الدوّار المصغّر كأي دوّار آخر وتعطي الأولوية للسير القادم من يمينك. المساحة أقل والوقت للإشارة أضيق، لذا اقترب ببطء، وكن مستعداً لإعطاء الأولوية، ودُر حول العلامة المركزية.
Rule 188 of The Highway Code says you should treat a mini-roundabout like any other roundabout and give way to traffic from your right. There is less room and less time to signal, so approach slowly, be ready to give way and pass round the central marking.
