The fog has cleared and visibility is good again, but your rear fog lights are still switched on. What should you do?
انقشع الضباب وعادت الرؤية جيدة، لكن مصابيح الضباب الخلفية (rear fog lights) لديك ما زالت مضاءة. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Keep them on in case the fog returns laterأبقها مضاءة تحسّباً لعودة الضباب
- Leave them on so you are always easier to seeاتركها مضاءة لتكون أوضح للرؤية دائماً
- Switch to full beam headlights insteadبدّل إلى الضوء العالي بدلاً منها
- Switch the fog lights off so you do not dazzle othersأطفئ مصابيح الضباب حتى لا تُبهر الآخرينإجابة صحيحة
لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 226 من قانون الطريق على أنه يجب (MUST) أن تطفئ مصابيح الضباب عند تحسّن الرؤية. فمصابيح الضباب الخلفية الساطعة إذا بقيت مضاءة قد تُبهر السائقين خلفك وتخفي أضواء الفرامل لديك، وهذا قلة مراعاة وخطر.
Rule 226 of The Highway Code says you MUST switch fog lights off when visibility improves. Bright rear fog lights left on can dazzle the drivers behind you and mask your brake lights, which is inconsiderate and unsafe.
