شغّلت مثبّت السرعة (cruise control) على طريق سريع صافٍ وجاف. ماذا يجب أن تتذكر؟

لماذا؟
أنظمة المساعدة تعين لكنها لا تقود بدلًا منك. تنص القاعدة 150 من قانون الطريق على ألا تعتمد على أنظمة مساعدة السائق مثل مثبّت السرعة (cruise control)، وألا تدعها تقلل تركيزك. تبقى مسؤولًا عن المركبة ويجب أن تحتفظ بالتحكم الكامل.
Assistance systems help, but they do not drive for you. Rule 150 of The Highway Code says you should not rely on driver assistance systems such as cruise control, and must not let them reduce your concentration. You remain responsible for the vehicle and must keep full control.
