Your car starts to skid because you braked too hard. What should you do first?

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 119 من قانون الطريق على أن الانزلاق ينتج عادة عن الكبح أو التسارع أو التوجيه العنيف. للتعافي، أزِل السبب أولًا — ارفع قدمك تمامًا عن الفرامل أو خفّف عن دوّاسة الوقود — قبل أن توجّه برفق لاستعادة السيطرة.
Rule 119 of The Highway Code says a skid is usually caused by harsh braking, acceleration or steering. To recover, first remove the cause — release the footbrake fully or ease off the accelerator — before steering gently to regain control.
