لماذا؟
توضّح القاعدة 99 من قانون الطريق أنه يجب ألّا تنقل ركاباً أكثر من عدد أحزمة الأمان المُركَّبة في المركبة أبداً. مشاركة حزام واحد بين شخصين تترك كليهما دون حماية مناسبة في حال وقوع حادث، وهذا مخالف للقانون.
Rule 99 of The Highway Code makes clear that you must never carry more passengers than the number of seatbelts fitted in the vehicle. Sharing a belt between two people leaves both without proper protection in a crash and is against the law.
