What should you check on a trailer's electrics before you set off?
ماذا يجب أن تفحص في كهرباء المقطورة قبل الانطلاق؟
- That the car radio still worksأن مذياع السيارة ما زال يعمل
- That an interior light is onأن ضوءاً داخلياً مضاء
- That the brake lights and indicators workأن أضواء الكبح والغمّازات (indicators) تعملإجابة صحيحة

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 98 من قانون الطريق على أن المقطورة يجب أن تكون صالحة للسير وأضواؤها تعمل. صِل الكهرباء وتحقّق من عمل أضواء الكبح والغمّازات (indicators) والأضواء الخلفية جميعها، ليرى من خلفك متى تكبح أو تُشير.
Rule 98 of The Highway Code says the trailer must be roadworthy with working lights. Connect the electrics and check the brake lights, indicators and rear lights all work, so drivers behind can see when you brake or signal.
