Before towing, which of these should you check on the trailer?

لماذا؟
تشترط القاعدة 98 من قانون الطريق أن تكون المقطورة ومعدّات القطر صالحة للسير. تحقّق من أن الإطارات قانونية ومنفوخة بشكل صحيح، وأن وصلة الربط (coupling) مُثبّتة على كرة القطر (tow ball)، مع تركيب كابل انفصال أو وصلة ربط احتياطية.
Rule 98 of The Highway Code requires the trailer and towing equipment to be roadworthy. Check the tyres are legal and correctly inflated and that the coupling is locked onto the tow ball, with a breakaway cable or secondary coupling fitted.
