لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 98 من قانون الطريق على توزيع الوزن بحكمة كي لا تُخلّ الحمولة بتوازن المركبة. فوضع أثقل الحقائب منخفضة ونحو مقدمة الصندوق (boot)، قرب المحور الخلفي، يُبقي مركز الثقل (centre of gravity) منخفضاً والسيارة مستقرّة.
Rule 98 of The Highway Code says to distribute the weight sensibly so the load does not upset the vehicle's balance. Placing the heaviest cases low and towards the front of the boot, near the rear axle, keeps the centre of gravity low and the car stable.
