You have finished a towing trip and unhitched the trailer. What should you do with the extension towing mirrors?

- Leave them on for a wider view every dayاتركها مركّبة لرؤية أوسع كل يوم
- Angle them at the pavementوجّهها نحو الرصيف

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 98 من قانون الطريق على وجوب تركيب مرايا القطر (towing mirrors) إذا حجبت المقطورة رؤيتك الخلفية، ويجب أن تمنح رؤية واضحة على كلا الجانبين. وبمجرد أن تتوقّف عن القطر ينبغي نزعها، لأن استخدامها بلا مقطورة قد يعيق رؤيتك وهو مخالفة.
Rule 98 of The Highway Code says you must fit towing mirrors if a trailer blocks your rearward view, and they must give a clear view down both sides. Once you are no longer towing you should remove them, because using them without a trailer can impair your view and is an offence.
