What does this triangular sign mean?
- Watch for children — a school or crossing patrol is aheadCorrect
- A playground where no vehicles may go
- A pedestrian-only zone ahead
- Elderly people crossing ahead
Why?
The red triangle showing two children warns that children may be crossing, often near a school or a crossing patrol. Drive slowly and be ready to stop. Rule 105 of The Highway Code says you must obey the signals of a school crossing patrol.
